Actually loud
16 sounds — click, woodblock, cowbell, sticks, drum kit, a counting voice, plus recorded kick, snare, hi-hat and more. Every click is tuned for where a phone speaker is loudest, and “Max” squeezes it to full level. It plays with the silent switch on, with the screen locked and behind other apps.
Three ways to see the beat
Big digits, a wind-up pendulum, or a cartoon drummer playing along. All follow the audio clock, so what you see is what you hear — and the screen can flash and the phone tap on every beat.
Training plans
Line up your practice step by step, at a steady tempo or one that rises every so often. For example: singles in 4/4 at 150 BPM for 5 minutes, +2 a minute; rest for a minute; doubles at 120 for 5 more. Tempo changes, new steps and the rest countdown are spoken aloud.
Speed test
For drummers: how many strokes in 10, 30 or 60 seconds. The microphone listens to your drum or pad, or tap two pads on screen. See strokes per second, the 16th-note BPM, your fastest second and personal bests.
