Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Arivanta Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) about using the Nuddo Glow and Nuddo Ghost apps and the nuddo.me website. The two apps share one account; the rules here for Nuddo Glow apply to Nuddo Ghost too, and what’s specific to Ghost is in “Nuddo Ghost”. By using Nuddo Glow you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you got Nuddo Glow from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

2. Your account

• You must be 16 or over to sign up for and use Nuddo Glow, everywhere (following Australia’s social media minimum age). If you’re under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian aware. Enter your real birth year and month when you sign up; accounts that misstate age are deactivated.
• Give us an email you control and keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
• Usernames can’t be changed once chosen; nicknames can be changed as your plan allows.
• You can delete your account in the app at any time.

3. Your content

The goals, records, photos and words you create in Nuddo Glow stay yours. So we can run the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and back up your content and to show it to the people you choose (such as buddies who follow you or members of your circles), only for operating Nuddo Glow. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account (backups are removed as described in the Privacy Policy).

4. Community rules

Nuddo Glow is a place to support each other. We have zero tolerance for:

• harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination;
• sexual, violent or otherwise objectionable content;
• impersonating others, sharing other people’s private information, or uploading photos of people without their consent;
• spam, scams, advertising or anything illegal;
• attempts to break, attack or get around Nuddo Glow’s security, or to scrape data by automated means.

Circles and sign-ups must not be used for anything illegal (for example gambling, illegal fundraising, pyramid schemes or selling prohibited goods). Circle names, announcements, sign-ups, cheers and bios are checked automatically, and anything offensive, abusive or illegal is blocked before it’s posted.

You can report or block anyone in the app. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. You can also report by email to support@nuddo.me.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Premium and Premium Plus are monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions charged to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• If you cancel, paid features stay on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then you’re back on Free. Goals and data above the Free limits are kept, but some features are limited.
• If you host circles, they’re paused when your subscription ends: the shared goal, progress and sign-ups stop, and announcements still work. Subscribe again within 14 days, or hand the circle to a vice-host who subscribes; otherwise the circle is disbanded and every member is told. Vice-hosts don’t need a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• “Buy us a coffee” is a one-off tip and doesn’t unlock features.
• We’ll tell you about price changes in advance, as the App Store requires.

6. Nuddo Ghost

• Messages fade. Ghost messages fade after 3, 12 or 36 hours depending on the plan, and burn-after-reading messages disappear once read. We can’t see or recover them, so don’t rely on Ghost to keep anything important.
• Encryption isn’t a free pass. The community rules apply to messages, voice, photos, videos and places in Ghost. Screenshot alerts and hiding chats during recording are best effort and can’t stop someone photographing their screen with another device — only send what you’re happy for the other person to see.
• Reporting and blocking are shared with Nuddo Glow. When you report, you can attach the messages concerned; your phone decrypts them and sends them to us, and we act only on what you attach.
• Plans are separate. Ghost Premium and Ghost Plus are Ghost’s own subscriptions, billed separately from Glow’s, with the same renewal, cancellation and refund rules as above.
• Availability: Nuddo Ghost isn’t offered on the mainland China App Store.

7. Health and safety

Nuddo Glow helps you track and build habits; it doesn’t give medical advice. Set exercise, diet, sleep, weight and quitting goals that are right for you, and talk to a doctor or other professional about health concerns. Stay aware of your surroundings and traffic when running, riding or travelling.

8. Changes and ending the service

We keep improving Nuddo Glow and may add, change or remove features. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we decide to shut Nuddo Glow down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and a chance to export your data.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t legally be excluded. To the extent the law allows, Nuddo Glow is provided “as is”: we work hard to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free; we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Nuddo Glow in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state. We may update these terms; we’ll tell you about significant changes before they take effect.
